Neoxena Research were engaged to undertake an ecological and conservation constraints assessment of linear infrastructure options across South Australia to facilitate logistics for the Palmer Windfarm development proposal.
Service Details
Assess proposed linear infrastructure options and provide flora and fauna site risk analysis for early planning avoidance strategies.
Assessing vegetation against the NVC Act, identifying weeds of national significance (WONS), or other listed Noxious pests, assessing threatened species habitat availability, migratory shorebird patterns, and other ecological values.
Provide high-resolution and accurate geospatial and mapping layers of vegetation and ecological values.
Provide ecological mitigation measure strategies and offset requirement advice.
Achieve the relevant approval pathways required for Federal and State regulation requirements (Environment Protection & Biodiversity Act, 1993, Native Vegetation Act, National Parks and Wildlife Act.
